NIA's MILESTONES PART 2

Long time - no see. More than 3 months have passed...

This is me at about 10 and a half months. I already weigh 8,7 kg.

By the way, the next edition will be my BIG 1st BIRTHDAY one! Can you believe it?!

But for now: Wanna see my new achievements and adventures?

In this picture you can see me and my parents. I am still crazy about them, and love cuddling and kissing them, and also checking out their teeth:

This was me at the end of summer in a park. I loved summer! It was so great to crawl around in a body only or even naked:

Unfortunately fall has come, and I am not very happy about all those layers. I really despise hats!
Even if I look cute in them.

A few weeks ago it was my Mama's birthday. I loved the candles on her cake. Unfortunately she didn't wanna share her cake with me. Her excuse was lame. She told me I was still too little and would get stomach aches :(

I dressed up for Halloween. I was a pumpkin. But I don't like eating pumpkins. Yucky, my least favorite vegetable.

I was ill too. I had the 3 day fever. But I was still a brave girl, I tried to cry very little, and in this picture I am even pushing a chair with cooling vinegar leg wraps (which were supposed to lower my fever).

The best thing that happened this fall was that Obama won the elections. He was my favorite and I would have voted for him, but I was too young. My Papa voted for him. My parents are so happy, and now I feel much better about being American, I am even proud of my country now! This is him:

I am a crawling pro by now. I am so fast, much faster already than in that old video from the last edition. And I love destroying things, especially block towers...




I am about to walk. I am standing alone, standing up without holding on to anything, cruising along furniture, and I absolutely love pushing chairs....


I love watching my parents take showers and baths. Don't worry, I also like taking baths myself.


However, I don't like getting my hair combed. It hurts and afterwards I look like this:

I also love flying. See how high my Papa throws me up in the air? Luckily our apartment has high ceilings...

I love the playground. Swings and rocking toys are just great. So much fun! My Mama takes me there every day, even when it is cold.

I also help a lot with the household. My favorite task is sorting the dirty laundry.

I also communicate a lot now. I wave bye bye to my parents, friends and random bypassers in the street, and I talk all the time. My favorite sounds are mamamama, dadadada, nein, nein, nein, hehehehe, da da da , hampfu, lalalala, walfu..... Other babies and Mama understand me. And when I'm very happy or excited I let out very loud, high pitched screams of joy. And I absolutely love playing peekaboo, it makes me laugh so hard.

I am a nerd. My favorite hobby is reading. My parents' bookshelf attracts me like a magnet, and I have my own library too. Lots of English and German books. I read, lick, bite, and drop each single one at least 3 times a day.

Being so active and busy makes me very hungry. A few weeks ago I became a very very good eater, and now I can't get enough. My favorite food is whole wheat bread. I also love oranges, broccoli and spinach. I am not a big fan of sweet stuff though. And I eat all that stuff without any teeth! They still haven't come!

I am also a popular girl. This is me with my best friend Sophia.

And this is my friend Liam. He gave me my first kiss at his 1st birthday party. He kissed Sophia too, the same day, what a player...

And some people came from very far to finally meet me.
Sean came all the way from NY. Funny dude. I was a little bit scared of him though.

Andreane came from Paris. She is the one who basically introduced Mama and Papa.

Lulu came from South Africa, the country where Mama and Papa met and spent their honeymoon. Lulu was great, we had such a ball! She has more energy than me, can you believe it?!
